Jumbo churrasco shrimp marinated with chili and lime, house chimichurri, red peppers, red onion, queso fresco, chili oil and fresh cilantro. a taste of summer!

tSpecial Dinner! Sunday, 3/24. 3 Courses. Shaved brussels sprout and fennel salad with Sarvecchio and warm brown butter vinaigrette. Pan seared Uphoff farm pork belly, over polenta, roasted local portobello mushrooms and sauteed spinach, and blood orange cakes with reduction for dessert. $25. Reservations are required for this special meal. The regular menu will be available as well. Friday night special: spinach, large shrimp, heirloom garlic, chili oil, creme fraiche, preserved Meyer lemon, cracked pepper, SarVecchio.

Special antipasto: house porchetta. A traditional Italian street food. Jordandal farms pork belly stuffed with savory fresh herbs, Fraboni’s hot Italian sausage, and slow roasted for 7 hours. Served with greens, preserved Meyer lemon, and Hawkwind Heat Mustard.

The Return of El Valiente!

It’s back. It’s delicious. And there is nothing else quite like it.

Choice hanger steak marinated with chipotles and garlic, house chimichurri, portobellos, roasted red peppers, queso fresco, chevre, garlic, caramelized onions, and cilantro.

You won’t find anything like this at any of the chain restaurants! It is inspired by one of our favorite restaurants that no longer exists – the former Restaurant Magnus. And it is named after a favorite madison-based band, El Valiente. Scratch made and packed with flavor, we think you’ll like it! We do.

Have you wanted to try that exotic sounding pizza, but were on the fence about about buying a whole pie?

We are now serving slices for lunch, Tuesday through Friday, starting at 11am.

We also feature scratch-made soups, and are slowly adding some signature sandwiches. The first sandwich is Stalzy’s Deli smoked pork loin, with sriracha mayo, and asian slaw with farmer John’s Colby Caliente.

Two slices and a soda for just $6 bucks! We think that’s a great deal for our award winning scratch made pizza, made with high quality local ingredients.
