Cool weather is here, Halloween is around the corner, and fall is one of our favorite times here at Sal’s. Tonight we have just the thing to scare away the chill.
The fall harvest pie is here: roasted organic squash and pumpkin, with local goat cheese, la Quercia prosciutto, Calabrian chili peppers, finished with a little green onion.
Our other special pizza includes safe harvest prawns, with house ricotta cheese, jenehr salted leeks, and shaved garlic.
Our entree is an all natural herb roasted bone in chicken breast served in cast iron with balsamic braised local cippoloni onions, roasted poblano and Marconi peppers, purple and fingerling potatoes.
Our appetizer is our house pulled burrata, served with vitruvian farm watercress and crostini with garlic oil.
Dessert is a housewife chocolate ganache tart served with cappuccino gelato made with sassy cow cream.
