Entree: 8 oz angus flank steak, churrasco style, over roasted local sweet Carmen and poblano peppers, roasted Wisconsin gold potatoes, finished with cilantro lime compound butter.

Pie: smoked Gouda, laQuercia prosciutto, harmony valley farm mustard greens, sun dried tomatoes, house made burrata, jalapeno pesto.

Dessert: Chocolate and vanilla panna cotta, dried cherry compote and maple tuille.

Pie: sesame marinated hanger steak, with local broccoli, oyster mushrooms, purple carrots, garlic, red onions, cilantro pesto.

Entree: carne asada- 8 oz black angus flank steak, pinto beans, sebolitas, Mexican rice, roasted cactus, house salsa, cilantro, radish and carrots.

Dessert: walnut tart with sour cream and apple chips.

Pie: Sea2table citrus marinated gulf shrimp, chorizo, local sweet Carmen peppers, roasted onion, romanesco, scallion, tomato confit butter sauce, baby watercress.

Tacos! Tacos al pastor, with onion, cilantro, pineapple, and an Arbol pepper roasted tomato salsa.

Tonight!  Nami Moon braised chicken with farmer johns’s colby caliente, jalapeño pesto, roasted poblano and mixed bell peppers, finished with a mango habanero pesto and squash blossom.   It’s moderately hot, but massively delicious!

Small Plate: Chili soy and garlic fried local shiitake mushrooms, snap peas, broccoli, garlic, scallion, baby carrots, cioggia beets, and crispy house made panetta over Vitruvian Farms mixed greens.

Pie: House pork carnitas, jalapeño pesto, red onion, roasted pineapple, jalapeño, neuske’s bacon, finished with lime, radish and cilantro.

Dessert: Nichole made a praline semifreddo, with balsamic blueberries and caramelized almonds.

Entree: Italian herbed angus rib roast, fingerling potatoes, aged asiago, emerald meadows farm green garlic and bok choy, La Quercia prosciutto, calabrese chili peppers. It’s a steal at $14!
Market Salad: Vitruvian Mixed greens, local strawberries, granny smith apples, asparagus, red onion, grape tomatoes, ricotta, and a mango jalapeño vinaigrette.
Pizza: Adobo stye shrimp, farmer john’s colby caliente, scallions, red onion, mixed peppers, finished with a fresh Vitruvian Farms watercress and radish salad.
Dessert: Balsamic roasted nectarines, with emerald meadows farm strawberries, and a blackberry cabernet sorbet.

Saturday Dane County Farmers Market!

Beautiful day to source ingredients from the Dane County Farmers Market on the Capitol square. We picked up some fantastic shiitake and oyster mushrooms from our friend Jamie Ramsay, from Indian Farm in Merrimac. We also scored some beautiful tomatoes from canopy gardens, cucumbers from Flyte, green garlic and broccoli rabe from Harmony Valley Farm, radishes from Crossroads Community Farm, asparagus from emerald meadows and much more.

We love this time of year at Sal’s.
