Catering Policies

Menu Selections and Pricing

Unless approved by your event planner, all food must be provided by Salvatore's. All details for your event, including final guest count, must be finalized two weeks in advance. Increases to your guest count are permitted up to 3 days in advance.


Deposits, Payment, and Cancellations

A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve our services for a catered event. Full payment is due 48 hours in advance, and a 3% surcharge will be added for credit card payments to partially offset the credit card fee. Any cancellation made within 14 days of an event is subject to a 25% charge.


Food Allergies

All food is prepared in a commercial kitchen that handles peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, eggs, dairy, soy,  and wheat regularly. If food allergies exist, please speak with your event planner and every effort will be made to work with your dietary requirements.



Service

Service staff are available to our customers, and are billed at a rate of $29/hour per server/bartender and $39/hour per lead server, and $44/hour per bartender when clients provide alcoholic beverages. There is a 23% service charge on the entire invoice excluding staff and a 50% service charge on all rentals.



Leftovers

Salvatore's staff is available to assist boxing leftovers, given that the food is still within the safety parameters set by Public Health Madison Dane County. Refrigeration must be readily available for this service. Leftovers service must be requested prior to the date of your event.
