General Manager

Salvatore’s Tomato Pies, an award winning farm to table restaurant in Sun Prairie is looking for a General Manager. Solid experience in an AGM, Bar Manager or General Manager is required. The ideal candidate will be a leader, coach, trainer and have an excellent understanding of contemporary and classic cuisines, wines, craft beers and cocktails. We would also consider candidates with any combination of that experience or knowledge. Ability and tenacity is a valuable asset and is often just as important as experience.

You will be responsible for managing and driving the hospitality experience at Sal’s. This will include training employees, positive professional customer interaction, setting the atmosphere in the restaurant, direct management of employees that include hosts/phones/servers/ bartenders/delivery drivers and support staff. Must have experience with managing social media, POS Systems, and reservation applications.

The general manager will also be responsible for event coordination and management, troubleshooting, recruiting/hiring staff, meeting budget numbers, communicating special event requirements to the culinary team, and more as assigned.
